She joined her colleagues Jenna Ortega, Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton and others for another photo shoot promoting her new film. For her appearance in the Big Apple, Bellucci went all out with a black suit paired with a black tank top and black sunglasses.

Apparently, her younger colleague – Jenna Ortega – drew inspiration from her look in Mexico City, as she appeared in a white striped suit. Unlike Bellucci, who wore pants, Ortega opted for a midi skirt that reached her ankles. She paired it with a long-sleeve corset and high-heeled sandals.

In turn, Winona Ryder opted for a dramatic black dress with white buttons, adding oversized sunglasses. Meanwhile, O’Hara wore a snake print suit.

In Mexico, Jenna chose a lace dress with wide shoulders, accented with a black embroidered pattern that was a bold departure from her usual gothic-inspired style. The choice of designed by Vivienne Westwood was especially fitting given the rebellious spirit of the brand – something that perfectly matched Ortega’s character.

However, instead of opting for the longer and more dramatic version of the dress that was showcased on the runway, the actress made the sensible decision to forgo the petticoat, providing a shorter and more seductive look. This look achieves a balance between youthful energy and the rebellious aesthetic that we’re used to seeing from Jenna. The silhouette with wide shoulders adds a touch of elegance, while the black embroidery keeps in line with the film – dark, but not overdone.

A trailer was released in July for Beetlejuice 2, in which we see Michael Keaton being summoned by Winona Ryder’s character to save her daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega). The video features scenes from the new and original Tim Burton films, including a dance scene between Astrid and Delia Dietz (Catherine O’Hara), as well as scenes with William Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, and Justin Theroux.

According to the official synopsis, an unexpected family tragedy brings three generations of the Dietz family back to Winter River, Connecticut, where Beetlejuice was last awakened. It is Lydia (Ryder) who discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic, and the portal to the afterlife opens accidentally.

“With troubles arising in both realms, it’s only a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his own chaos.” adds the summary.
